The Committee noted that the new candidate lists submitted by the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbian Language Association of Serbia and the Foreign Language Association of Serbia, have this time been compiled in line with the Law on the Basis of the System of Education and Upbringing, and ruled to forward said lists to the National Assembly as supplement to the Joint Candidate List of 5 May 2017, to conduct the election of the second half of members of the National Education Council whose six-year term of office is due to expire on 25 May 2017.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Muamer Zukorlic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Ratko Jankov, Olena Papuga, Dr Vladimir Orlic, Nikola Savic, MA Aleksandra Jerkov, Fatmir Hasani, Dr Ljubinko Rakonjac, Djordje Kosanic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Milena Bicanin, Marko Parezanovic and Dr Zarko Korac.
