10th session of the Committee on Justice and Administration
The tenth session of the Committee on Justice and Administration, held on 3 June 2004, saw discussion of the Report of the Supreme Court of Serbia on the termination of office of judges of general competence and judges of special courts.
The tenth session of the Committee on Justice and Administration, held on 3 June 2004, saw discussion of the Report of the Supreme Court of Serbia on the termination of office of judges of general competence and judges of special courts. The Committee drafted the Proposal of the Decision on the Termination of Judicial Office on Grounds of Personal Request, Retirement, Permanent Disability or Incompetent and Unprofessional Performance.
The Committee also discussed the report of the High Judicial Council on the termination of office of the Deputy Public Prosecutor; a Decision to that effect was drafted.
The Committee resolved to forward the Proposals of Decisions to the National Assembly for consideration, proposing that they should be discussed at a session of the National Assembly under urgent procedure.
The Committee on Justice and Administration designated its chairman, Branislav Ristivojevic, representative of the Committee.
At its session held on 15 June 2004, the Committee on Justice and Administration went on to discuss objections and complaints raised against judicial bodies of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee resolved to forward the objections and complaints to the Court Supervision Department of the Judiciary and Offences Sector of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia, which will, if it sees fit, forward the submissions to the Supervisory Board of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee’s session was chaired by the Committee’s deputy chairperson, Vjerica Radeta.
