10th Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija

At the sitting held on 7 November, the members of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija were informed about the implementation of the First Agreement of Principles Governing the Normalisation of Relations between Belgrade and the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Pristina with European Union mediation, with a special focus on the local elections conducted on 3 November 2013 in Kosovo-Metohija.


The sitting was attended by Aleksandar Vulin, Minister without portfolio responsible for Kosovo-Metohija, Marko Djuric, advisor to the President of the Republic of Serbia, Veljko Odalovic, Serbian Government Secretary-General and member of the team conducting the dialogue in Brussels, as well as the chiefs of Kosovo-Metohija administrative districts. They briefed the Committee members and the MPs attending the sitting on the post-elections situation in Kosovo-Metohija. They warned of the possibility of Serbs losing Kosovska Mitrovica and stressed that Serbs should be urged to take part in the elections on 17 November.
Following the discussion among the Committee members and the MPs attending the sitting, the Committee adopted the following Conclusions by a majority of votes.

The sitting was chaired by Milovan Drecun, Committee Chairman.
