104th session of the Legislative Committee

At its 104th session, held on 14 December, the Legislative Committee discussed and in principle endorsed the Bill on the Distribution of Transfer Assets from the Budget of the Republic of Serbia and the Share of Municipalities, Cities and the City of Belgrade in the Salary Tax for 2006, and six amendments submitted to it, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Public Debt of the Republic of Serbia Resulting from the Assumption of Obligations of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees for Unpaid Pensions and Compensations, and another six amendments submitted to it; one amendment was rejected.


At its 104th session, held on 14 December, the Legislative Committee discussed and in principle endorsed the Bill on the Distribution of Transfer Assets from the Budget of the Republic of Serbia and the Share of Municipalities, Cities and the City of Belgrade in the Salary Tax for 2006, and six amendments submitted to it, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Public Debt of the Republic of Serbia Resulting from the Assumption of Obligations of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees for Unpaid Pensions and Compensations, and another six amendments submitted to it; one amendment was rejected.

The Committee assessed as legally possible the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Public Debt of the Republic of Serbia Resulting from the Assumption of Obligations of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Farmers for Unpaid Pensions and Compensations, and six amendments submitted to it, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Social Protection and the Provision of Social Security, and five out of the six amendments submitted to it.

The session also discussed, in principle endorsed, and assessed as legally possible the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Financial Support for Families with Children and ten amendments submitted by deputies to it. The Mortgage Bill was also ruled as legally possible, as were fifty-three amendments submitted to it.

The Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for a Loan Granted by the European Investment Bank (Comprehensive Air Traffic Control Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project – Serbia and Montenegro) was also assessed as legally possible; however, four amendments submitted to the Bill were rejected.
