War Crimes Prosecutor and Public Prosecutors Take Oath of Office at National Assembly
War Crimes Prosecutor Snezana Stanojkovic, public prosecutors and deputy public prosecutors elected for the first time, as well as judges elected to judicial office for the first time took the oath of office today, at the National Assembly, before the National Assembly Speaker in a ceremony also attended by Minister of Justice Nela Kuburovic.
Gojkovic said that she was sure the newly-elected prosecutors and their deputies would do their duty independently and without bias, in line with the Serbian Constitution and law, following their conscience, and ensure respect for every citizen, thus contributing to the reputation of the judicial office.
Three judges who were elected at the same National Assembly sitting on 15 May also took the oath of office, and Gojkovic congratulated them, saying she was sure the newly-elected judges would arbitrate independently and without bias.
