Third Sitting of the Subcommittee for Monitoring the Agricultural Situation in Marginal - Least Developed Areas of the Republic of Serbia - Areas with Difficult Working Conditions in Agriculture
The Subcommittee for Monitoring the Agricultural Situation in Marginal - Least Developed Areas of the Republic of Serbia - Areas with Difficult Working Conditions in Agriculture held its third sitting on 6 April 2023 outside of the National Assembly seat in the Municipality of Indjija.
The Subcommittee considered animal husbandry and agriculture – sustainable development opportunities in underdeveloped areas of the Republic of Serbia and the application of new standards and their impact on the citizens’ lives and standard.
The sitting was chaired by Subcommittee Chairman Milija Miletic, and attended by the following Subcommittee members and deputy members: Dejan Ignjatovic, Momir Stojilkovic, Dr Nenad S. Mitrovic, Dr Anna Oreg and Marko Ristic. The sitting was also attended by MPs Marijan Risticevic and Dr Jelena Kalajdzic, who are not members of the Subcommittee.
In addition to the Subcommittee members, the sitting was also attended by representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Srdjan Stojanovic, Senior Adviser in the Rural Development Sector, and representatives of agricultural associations.
The Subcommittee sitting outside of the National Assembly seat was held with the support of UNDP of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation via project Strengthening Parliamentary Democracy and Inclusive Political Dialogue – Phase Three.
