The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the Third Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2008 for Wednesday, 5 November 2008, starting at 12 p.m.

Speaker Djukic-Dejanovic proposed that, at the sitting, the National Assembly discuss the Bill on the Organisation of Courts, the Bill on Judges, the Bill on the High Judicial Council, the Bill on the Public Prosecution, the Bill on the State Council of Prosecutors, the Bill on Court and Public Prosecutors Seats and Districts, as well as the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Misdemeanours.

The proposed agenda also includes the bills on Public Purchases, amending and modifying the Law on Deposit Insurance, amending and modifying the Law on the Deposit Insurance Agency and amending and modifying the Law on Bankruptcy and Liquidation of Banks and Insurance Companies. The National Assembly Speaker proposed that, at the sitting, the National Assembly also discuss the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Travel Documents, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Civil Servants and the Bill on Associations.

All the bills were submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting will be held in the Building of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade, 14 Kralja Milana Street.
