Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications Committee Chairperson Meets with Belgrade Land Development Public Agency Representatives

The Chairperson of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications Katarina Rakic had a working meeting at the National Assembly House with representatives of the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency: Branislav Popovic, Director, Zivana Kuklika and Milica Radovic, operative directors, and Tatjana Popovic, Sector Director.

The representatives of the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency pointed out that the convoluted tangle of legislation and regulations makes it impossible to develop public infrastructure. They said it was necessary to amend the following laws: the Law on State Survey and Cadastre, Law on Legalisation of Buildings, Expropriation Law and the Law on Planning and Construction.

Committee Chairperson Katarina Rakic suggested that they should meet again and include representatives of the Republic Geodetic Authority to discuss the possible amendments to these laws in the interest of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
