At the request of 123 deputies, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the Seventh Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010, for Thursday, 30 September 2010, starting at 10:30 a.m.

The Request to hold the session specified the following agenda:

1. The Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Committee Members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Speaker of the National Assembly.

Before moving on to the agenda, deputies Dragan Todorovic, Milos Aligrudic, Miroslav Markicevic, Zoran Ostojic and Jovan Damjanovic exercised their right under article 286 of the Rules of Procedure and requested information and explanations from state institutions.

In the course of the day the National Assembly conducted and concluded the unified discussion on the Decision Proposal.

Having completed the unified discussion on the only item on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic set Thursday, 30 September 2010, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda for the Seventh Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2010, starting at 8 p.m.

The National Assembly adopted the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Committee Members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia by 128 votes.

The National Assembly also ruled on the violations of the Rules of Procedure the deputies complained of during the session and decided that the provisions of the Rules of Procedure had not been violated.

As the National Assembly had completed the discussion on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic concluded the Seventh Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2010.
