In the course of the visit the members of the Security Services Control Committee were briefed on the scope of activities, tasks, organization and mode of operation of the Office of the National Security Council and Classified Information Protection, legal framework and procedures implemented by the Office, organization and mode of operation of the National Security Council, implementation of the Council’s guidelines and conclusions, administrative and technical support to the Coordination Bureau, international cooperation and progress made in the implementation of the Data Secrecy Law and EU standards in the field.

In the conversation with the Director and employees of the Council Office, it was stressed that passing a cyber-security strategy is of paramount importance for national security.
