The National Assembly adopted an agenda bearing one item:

1. Bill amending the Criminal Code, submitted by a group of 199 MPs.

The National Assembly commenced a debate in principle on the Bill amending the Criminal Code. The Bill was elaborated by representative of the submitters MP Meho Omerovic.

By the end of the day, National Assembly had concluded the debate in principle on the only item of the agenda.

On the second day of the proceedings, 10 October, the National Assembly completed a debate in detail on the Bill amending the Criminal Code.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the Bill amending the Criminal Code, the Chair, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic set Friday, 10 October 2014, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda for the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014, starting at 11.50 am.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, 10 October, by a majority of MPs’ votes, the National Assembly passed the Bill amending the Criminal Code.

On Voting Day, the National Assembly also ruled on the violations of the Rules of Procedure the MPs complained of in the course of the sitting and decided that none of the provisions of the Rules of Procedure had been violated.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014.
