Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009

The Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009, convened at the request 221 deputies by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, began on Thursday, 22 January, at 10 a. m. The Request to hold the session set the following agenda: 1. The Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the State Audit Institution Rules of Procedure, submitted by the Finance Committee,2. The Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the acts of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, submitted by the Administrative Committee.



The Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009, convened at the request 221 deputies by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, began on Thursday, 22 January, at 10 a.m.

The Request to hold the session set the following agenda:

1. The Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the State Audit Institution Rules of Procedure, submitted by the Finance Committee,

2. The Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the acts of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, submitted by the Administrative Committee.

In the morning part of the proceedings, before commencing the discussion on the items on the agenda, the deputies pointed out violations of the Rules of Procedure requesting various information from competent institutions.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly completed a unified discussion on the Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the State Audit Institution Rules of Procedure, submitted by the Finance Committee.

On the second day of work, 23 January, the National Assembly conducted a unified discussion on the Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the acts of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, submitted by the Administrative Committee.

At the beginning of the proceedings, the deputies pointed out violations of the Rules of Procedure and asked several questions unconnected with the agenda.

Having completed the unified discussion on the Proposal, the National Assembly Speaker set Friday, 23 January as Voting Day, starting at 1,55 p.m.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the State Audit Institution Rules of Procedure, submitted by the Finance Committee, by a majority of 193 votes and the Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the acts of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, submitted by the Administrative Committee, by 197 deputy votes.

Since the National Assembly had completed the discussion on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, concluded the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009.
