Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature
At the proposal of 152 MPs, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia for Saturday, 24 June 2017, starting at 10 am.
- Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries, submitted by MP Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
By the end of the day the National Assembly had concluded the debate in principle on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries.
On the second day of the session, 26 June, the National Assembly completed a debate in detail on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate in principle and in detail on the Bill, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Djordje Milicevic set Monday, 26 June, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda for the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature, starting at 8.15 pm.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, 26 June, the MPs passed the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries by 157 votes.
The National Assembly also ruled on the violations of the Rules of Procedure the MPs complained of in the course of the session and decided that none of the provisions of the Rules of Procedure had been violated.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature.
