Regional Parliamentary Conference “Working to Strengthen Regional Cooperation in Western Balkans: Achievements and Prospects”

National Assembly Deputy Speaker and Chairman of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending Veroljub Arsic, member of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending MA Dejan Radenkovic, and members of the European Integration Committee Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic and Katarina Susnjar, are taking part in the regional parliamentary conference on “Working to Strengthen Regional Cooperation in the Western Balkans: Achievements and Prospects” held on Jahorina, 26 and 27 November 2015.


The participants of the conference are Western Balkan parliamentarians, members of committees in charge of economic issues, finance and European integration. The conference is attended by parliamentary delegations from Macedonia, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Srpska and Serbia.

The topics of the two-day conference are: state of play of the Western Balkans European integration process, promoting efficient use of the EU IPU funds, promoting the parliament’s oversight of the budget execution process, the role of the parliament in the application of the conclusions of the Vienna and Berlin Process, and further cooperation within the Network of Parliamentary Committees on Economy, Finance and European Integration.

The conference is co-organised by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the Network of Parliamentary Committees on Economy, Finance and European Integration of Western Balkans.
