The Head of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Georgia Dubravka Filipovski stressed that the relations between Serbia and Georgia are friendly and good. She opined that there is room to further strengthen the recently intensified parliamentary relations through the cooperation of working bodies and parliamentary friendship groups.

The Chargé d'Affaires of the Diplomatic Office of the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Serbia Ilia Koberidze pointed out that last year marked the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Georgia. He said that there is room to advance cooperation at all levels, especially in terms of the European integration process which both countries are involved in, accompanied by an exchange of experiences in that field.

The meeting also touched on the possible establishment of a direct flight between the two countries, to get the population of the two countries better acquainted with their respective cultures and strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, tourism and education.

The meeting was also attended by PFG members Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic, Natasa Jovanovic, Boban Birmancevic, Velibor Stanojlovic and Bojan Torbica.
