The members of the Foreign Affairs Committee met today with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean H.E. Pedro Roque to discuss cooperation within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean and the migrant crisis.

Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic said that EU accession is Serbia’s strategic goal, as is promoting regional cooperation vital for the economic development, peace and stability of the countries of South-East Europe. Speaking of the migrant crisis Obradovic said that this is a global problem that reaches well beyond the region and requires a concentrated effort and a comprehensive solution at the level of the entire European Union.
