In the course of the conversation, the officials assessed the relations between the two countries as good, and that parliamentary cooperation is progressing, with mutual commitment to further intensifying contacts and exchange of experiences between the two parliaments.

They also discussed the key issues related to the fulfilment of the obligations that the Republic of Serbia is implementing in order to open Cluster 3 in the negotiations with the European Union. Speaker Brnabic stressed that Serbia is firmly committed to the European integration process, as well as to the implementation of reform activities that are essential for progress in that process. She thanked Austria for supporting our country on its path to membership in the European Union.

The National Assembly Speaker also stressed that preserving stability in the region and strengthening economic cooperation are of common interest, emphasising that Serbia sees Austria as a reliable partner in these processes.
