National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Holds Coordination Meeting with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Minister of Justice Maja Popovic

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a coordination meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Minister of Justice Maja Popovic, concerning the Constitutional amendment.

The Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues had previously adopted the Serbian Government’s Proposal to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.

The participants of the coordination meeting discussed the coming activities concerning the Constitutional amendment. National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic said that the National Assembly is planned to consider and vote on the Proposal in the session scheduled for 8 June 2021. The session is to be attended by the Prime Minister and Minister of Justice as proposers.

The planned public hearings with representatives of public experts, civil society organisations and international organisations continue in the meantime.
