Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Committee Chairman at Meeting of Chairpersons of Committees Specialised in Fundamental Rights in Rome
The Chairman of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality, Meho Omerovic, is taking part in the meeting of chairpersons of committees specialised in fundamental rights, 13-14 October, in Rome.
An invitation to the meeting was extended to committees in charge of human rights by the chairpersons of the relevant committees of the Italian Senate and Chamber of Deputies.
The meeting is held as part of Italy’s presidency of the EU and addresses the issues of migration, asylum and fundamental human rights.
