Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) National Branch Holds Sixth Meeting

At its sixth meeting, held on 29 July, the GOPAC National Branch re-elected MP Stefana Miladinovic secretary of the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption in Serbia.

The participants of the meeting also discussed the GOPAC Serbia upcoming activities such as holding workshops to present the work of the Public Procurement Directorate and the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, as well as organising a public hearing, in cooperation with the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, on the relationship and cooperation between the State Audit Institution and judiciary institutions.
The foundation of the GOPAC branch in Serbia was supported by project Strengthening the Oversight Role and Transparency of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia conducted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
