Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014

At the request of the Government, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic convened the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014, for Friday, 27 June 2014, starting at 10 am.


The request to hold the Fourth Extraordinary Session specifies an agenda bearing one item:

1. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Security Information Agency, submitted by the Government.

Before moving on to the agenda, based on the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission and at the proposal of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, the National Assembly noted the verification of the term of office of MP Dusan Jankovic elected from the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – FUTURE WE BELIEVE IN (Serbian Progressive Party, Social Democratic Party of Serbia, New Serbia, Serbian Renewal Movement, Socialist Movement) Electoral List. The newly-elected MP then proceeded to take the oath of office.

The National Assembly commenced and concluded the debate in principle on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Security Information Agency, elaborated by the representative of the submitter, Minister of Justice Nikola Selakovic.
On the second day of the proceedings, 29 June, the National Assembly completed a debate in detail on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Security Information Agency.

As the National Assembly had concluded the debate in detail on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Security Information Agency, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic set Sunday, 29 June 2014, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda for the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014, starting at 1 pm.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, 29 June, by a majority vote, the National Assembly adopted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Security Information Agency.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Security Information Agency and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014.
