The following agenda was adopted for the Fifth Session of the Second Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2004, called by the Chairman, Predrag Markovic, for 18 November:

1. The Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2005 with the associated Memorandum on the Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy for 2005 with its associated projections for 2006 and 2007, as well as proposals of decisions authorising 2005 financial plans for:

a) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees;
b) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Agricultural Producers;
c) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Individual Professions;
d) the Republic Health Insurance Agency, and
e) the National Employment Service;

2. The Bill on the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

The Minister of Finance in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mladjan Dinkic, presented the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2005 with its associated acts, after which the Assembly commenced debate in principle on the Bill.

The National Assembly noted that the mandates of deputies Emilija Krstic and Dragisa Djokovic had terminated on the date of their resignation. Based on the reports submitted by the Republic Electoral Commission and the Administrative Committee, the Assembly also noted the confirmation of mandates of deputies Radoslav Zdravkovic and Petar Madzarevic, elected from the Democratic Party of Serbia – Vojislav Kostunica Electoral List.

On the second day of the session (19 November), the National Assembly, having sat for several hours, concluded discussion in principle and in particular on the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2005.

Immediately on completion of discussion, the Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, set Voting Day for the item from the agenda.

The National Assembly adopted, in its entirety, the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2005 with the associated Memorandum on the Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy for 2005 with its associated projections for 2006 and 2007, as well as proposals of decisions authorising 2005 financial plans for:

a) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees;
b) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Agricultural Producers;
c) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Individual Professions;
d) the Republic Health Insurance Agency, and
e) the National Employment Service.

The Bill on the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia was withdrawn from procedure on the third day of the Fifth Session (29 November).

As the National Assembly had already discussed and voted on the first item from the agenda of the session, the Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, concluded the Fifth Session of the Second Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2004.
