Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee Chairman Talks to Representatives of Company GBA from Prague
The Chairman of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee Marijan Risticevic met today, at the National Assembly House, with the owners of company GBA (Global Business Association) from Prague, František Stránský and Jaroslav Musilа.
Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic opined that the Czech Republic’s EU accession experience is very useful to Serbia and informed the guests about the terrible state of the canal network and river basins in Serbia.
It was concluded that the best potential for the Czech company’s investment into Serbia lies in the fields of urban waste water treatment, irrigation network and accompanying equipment and the construction of small hydropower plants.
The meeting was also attended by acting director of the Republic Waters Directorate, Miroslav Pjescic.
