75th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 16 May 2019, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending met with representatives of the IMF mission to discuss the Second Review under the Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI) and Article IV consultations under IMF Articles of Agreement.

The delegation was headed by IMF mission chief Jan Kees Martijn who said that the visit to Serbia was organized because of the Second Review of the IMF-Serbia programme and is based on the Article IV consultations with the objective of reviewing the economy of each member state, analysing the economy and pinpointing the economic priorities for the coming period. His brief presentation of the programme was followed by a discussion.

In addition to the mission chief, the IMF delegation also comprised resident representative in Serbia Sebastian Sosa, as well as Pietro Dallari, Juliana Araujo, Martina Marinkov, Desanka Obradovic and Marko Paunovic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Bojanic, Goran Kovacevic, Veroljub Arsic, Momo Colakovic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Olivera Pesic, Srbislav Filipovic and Sonja Vlahovic, as well as MPs MA Dejan Radenkovic and Doc. Dr Ivan Bauer, who are not members of the Committee.
