54th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 7 October, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending discussed the Information on setting up a portal to monitor and supervise the spending of Republic of Serbia budgetary funds which is to connect the National Assembly and the Treasury, and the training of MPs on how to use said portal.
The establishment of the portal is part of project Strengthening the Oversight Role and Transparency of the National Assembly, conducted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The Committee members were presented an idea for the development of the portal to monitor and supervise the spending of Republic of Serbia budgetary funds, and the presentation was attended by members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues.
The sitting was chaired by Vesna Kovac, Committee Chairperson.
