50th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 6 June, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered in detail the Bill on Protection of Financial Services Consumers in Distance Contracts, Bill on Financial Collateral, Bill on Interchange Fees and Special Operating Rules for Card-Based Payment Transactions, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Payment Services, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia.

The National Bank of Serbia and the Committee accepted none of the 564 amendments submitted to the Bill on Protection of Financial Services Consumers in Distance Contracts.

The National Bank of Serbia and the Committee accepted one of the 107 amendments submitted to the Bill on Financial Collateral viz. the amendment to Article 23 submitted jointly by MPs Sanda Raskovic Ivic and Dijana Vukomanovic.

The National Bank of Serbia and the Committee accepted none of the 93 amendments submitted to the Bill on Interchange Fees and Special Operating Rules for Card-Based Payment Transactions.

The National Bank of Serbia and the Committee accepted none of the 40 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Payment Services.

The National Bank of Serbia and the Committee did not accept any of the 90 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia either.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Bojanic, Sonja Vlahovic, Goran Kovacevic, Zoran Despotovic, Momo Colakovic, Olivera Pesic, Zoltan Pek, Veroljub Arsic and Dr Milorad Mijatovic.
