43rd Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy

At the sitting held on 3 July, the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy reviewed the following:

  1. Ministry of Economy Activity Information for the period January-March 2019;
  2. Ministry of Economy Report on the privatisation process for January 2019;
  3. Ministry of Economy Report on the privatisation process for February 2019;
  4. Ministry of Economy Report on the privatisation process for March 2019;
  5. Ministry of Economy Report on the privatisation process for April 2019;
  6. Ministry of Economy Report on the privatisation process for May 2019;
The activity information and reports were presented by State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy Dragan Grgurovic and assistant ministers Dragan Ugrcic, Dubravka Drakulic and Dusan Vuckovic.

The Committee also reviewed the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Activity Report for the period 1 January – 31 March 2019, presented by state secretaries Stevan Nikcevic and Vesna Kovac.

The Committee members accepted the Ministry of Economy reports and activity information, as well as the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Activity Report by majority vote.

The Committee also noted that the terms of office of the President of the Commission for Protection of Competition and three Council members are expiring on 29 October 2019, requiring the election of new ones, of which the Committee will inform the National Assembly Speaker and Secretary General in writing.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Snezana B. Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Stanislava Janosevic, Studenka Kovacevic, Gorica Gajic, Zoran Bojanic, Snezana R. Petrovic, Miladin Vujadinovic, Snezana Paunovic and Ana Carapic.
