The bills were presented by authorized representatives of the submitter, State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance Slavica Savicic and Dragan Babic of the Public Debt Administration. The Committee members completed a joint debate on items 1 to 4 on the agenda – the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, submitted by the Government, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Fiscalisation, submitted by the Government, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Provisional Register of Adult Citizens of the Republic of Serbia to whom Financial Assistance is Paid to Mitigate the Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic Caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Virus, submitted by the Government, and the Bill on the Loan by the Republic of Serbia with OTP Bank Srbija a.d. Novi Sad for the Purpose of Funding the Subotica - Horgos – Hungarian Border (Szeged) Railway Reconstruction and Modernisation Project, submitted by the Government.

Following the presentation, the Committee voted that the National Assembly accept said bills.

As item 5 on the agenda, the Committee considered the proposal to launch proceedings for the election of president and members of the Securities Commission. As the Commission President and members’ term of office they were elected to by National Assembly Decision ends on 23 November 2021, the Committee needs to submit a proposal for the election of president and members of the Securities Commission. The Committee adopted the proposal that the parliamentary groups choose candidates and submit nominations by 25 October 2021 at the latest, after which the Committee would organise an interview with the proposed candidates.
