38th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 14 July 2021, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered and adopted the Bill on Determining Financial Support to Business Entities for Maintaining Liquidity and Working Capital in Difficult Business Conditions Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Virus, submitted by the Government, presented by representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economy.

The Committee went on to consider the Fiscal Council 2020 Activity Report, presented by Fiscal Council members Nikola Altiparmakov and Bojan Dimitrijevic. Following a debate, the Committee members adopted the Conclusion Proposal on considered Report stating that the Report is accepted, and forwarded it to the National Assembly for consideration and adoption.

The Committee members went on to grant consent to the Rulebook amending the Rulebook on the Internal Organisation and Job Systematisation at the Fiscal Council Support Service.

The Committee also adopted the Decision to launch the proceedings to ascertain the proposal for the election of two members of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures and the Decision on the establishment of the Working Group to conduct the proceedings for the election of two members of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Tomic, Svetlana Milijic, Veroljub Arsic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Velibor Milojicic, Sonja Vlahovic, Ugljesa Markovic, Ana Carapic, Nikola Jolovic, Adrijana Pupovac, Zoran Bojanic and Olivera Pesic.
