The Committee members were greeted by the Mayor of Pozarevac Sasa Pavlovic who said that the areas that are within the Committee’s scope of work and interests are an important factor and generator of development of the City of Pozarevac. The giant Kostolac and separate companies are the engine of development of Pozarevac, Pavlovic pointed out adding that a significant inflow into the city budget comes from these entities. Trade is another important part of the economy of this city which also has a considerable tourist potential with a large number of tourist locations, said the Mayor of Pozarevac.

Information about the operation of "Georad" LTD Drmno in 2020 and plans for 2022 were presented by company director Dr Miodrag Stepanovic.

Information on the business operations of "Autotransport" - Kostolac in 2020 and plans for 2022 were presented by company deputy director Marko Gostojic.

Information about the operation of “PRIM" LTD in 2020 and plans for 2022 were presented by company director Aleksandar Jovanovic.

Director Igor Gazdic presented the information on the business dealings of "RIO" LTD Kostolac in 2020 and the plans for 2022.

Information on the operation of "Kostolac-Usluge" LTD Kostolac in 2020 and plans for 2022 were presented by director Dragoslav Djokic.

The sitting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Mining and Energy - acting assistant minister Milan Macura and Vesna Lakovic.

In the course of the discussion, the Committee members shared their opinions and views on the submitted information and were additionally informed about certain aspects of these companies’ business dealings.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Ilija Zivotic, Snezana Petrovic, Dragomir Karic, Vesna Stambolic, Dijana Radovic, Mirela Radenkovic, Nenad Kostic, Zoran Tomic, Jasmina Karanac, Mladen Boskovic, Milos Bandjur and Adrijana Pupovac, as well as MP Ana Miljanic.

The Committee sitting outside the National Assembly seat was supported by project "Strengthening Parliamentary Democracy and Inclusive Political Dialogue" conducted by the UNDP with the support of Switzerland.
