31st Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 17 December, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending discussed, in detail, the Bill on Insurance, Bill on Payment Services, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Protection of Financial Service Consumers and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, submitted by the National Bank of Serbia.

Out of the 313 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Insurance, the National Bank of Serbia and the Committee accepted one.
The National Bank of Serbia and the Committee accepted none of the 248 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Payment Services. The Committee submitted an amendment of its own to article 221 of the Bill.
The MPs had submitted 21 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Protection of Financial Service Consumers, but the National Bank of Serbia and the Committee accepted none of them.
Out of the four amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, the National Bank of Serbia and the Committee accepted one.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic.
