30th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 24 May 2021, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered in principle the Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law, submitted by the Government.

Following a debate, the Committee adopted the Bill presented by State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Slavica Savicic.

The Committee went on to consider the Commission for State Aid Control 2020 Activity Report, presented by Commission President Vladimir Antonijevic. Following a discussion, the Committee formulated a Conclusion Proposal to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and adoption, proposing that the National Assembly accept the Commission for State Aid Control 2020 Activity Report. The Committee members also passed a Decision to grant consent to the first amendment of the Commission for State Aid Control 2021 Financial Plan.

The Committee also considered the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures Activity Report for the period 1 January 2020 – 31 December 2020, presented by Commission President Hana Hukic. Following a discussion, the Committee formulated a Conclusion Proposal to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and adoption, proposing that the National Assembly accept said Report.

The Committee members then considered the Report on 2020 Monitoring conducted by the Public Procurement Office, presented by Office Director Sandra Damcevic. Following a discussion, the Committee formulated a Conclusion Proposal to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and adoption, proposing that the National Assembly accept said Report.

Finally, the Committee considered the Securities Commission 2020 Annual Report, presented by Commission President Marko Jankovic. Following a discussion, the Committee formulated a Conclusion Proposal to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and adoption, proposing that the National Assembly accept the Securities Commission 2020 Annual Report.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Vojislav Vujic, Zoltan Pek, Bratimir Vasiljevic, Goran Kovacevic, Veroljub Arsic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Sonja Vlahovic, Ugljesa Markovic, Ana Carapic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Adrijana Pupovac, Nikola Jolovic, Zoran Bojanic, Olivera Pesic and Dr Boban Birmancevic.
