16th Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications
At the sitting held on 29 May, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications reviewed the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure activity reports for the period 1 July – 30 September 2016, 1 October – 31 December 2016 and 1 January – 31 March 2017.
Damnjanovic said that the building permit growth trend continues and in March 1500 had been issued, which is followed by a growth in the overall value of the construction works done.
The Law on Planning and Construction implemented since 1 March allows for the use of a unified procedure for the issuance of building permits in 28 days maximum, said the State Secretary.
She then proceeded to inform the Committee members on the implementation of the Building Legalization Law which regulates the requirements, procedure and manner of legalization of real estate or its parts built without permit, adding that all buildings constructed without a building permit have been recorded for the first time in Serbia. She said these would be categorized by the end of the month and then legalized.
State Secretary Miodrag Poledica informed the Committee on the Ministry’s activities concerning, rail, road, air and water transport, and State Secretary Maja Matija Ristic informed the Committee members that the State Audit Institution’s report on financial management in the Ministry found it rational and economically justified, adding that to this day 26% of the budget has been executed.
Following a brief discussion the Committee member adopted the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure activity reports for the abovementioned periods, by majority vote.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Katarina Rakic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Ivana Nikolic, Ivana Stojiljkovic, Dalibor Radicevic, Dr Vladimir Orlic, Ognjen Pantovic, Aleksandar Stevanovic, Stefana Miladinovic, Dragan Jovanovic, Dr Dragan Vesovic, Zoran Milekic and Snezana Petrovic.
