12th Sitting of the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction

At the sitting held on 28 December 2021, the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financial Support to Families with Children, in principle, as well as the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Conditions for Free Access to the Labour Market in the Western Balkans and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Interconnection of Schemes for Electronic Identification of the Citizens of the Western Balkans.

The Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financial Support to Families with Children was presented by Aleksandra Camagic, representative of the Ministry of Family Care and Demography, who said that the provisions of this law are part of the overall social child care and contribute to the improvement of conditions necessary to meet children’s basic needs, to pro-natal incentives and aid to materially endangered families.

Following a brief discussion the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept the Bill.

The Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Conditions for Free Access to the Labour Market in the Western Balkans was presented by Sanja Gavranovic, representative of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, and the Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the National Assembly accept the Bill.

The Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Interconnection of Schemes for Electronic Identification of the Citizens of the Western Balkans was presented by Sava Savic, representative of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, after which the Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the National Assembly accept the Bill.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Radovan Tvrdisic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic, Radovan Arezina, Vladimir Grahovac, Josip Broz, Dr Emese Uri, Vesna Krisanov, Milosav Milojevic, Vesna Knezevic, Branimir Spasic, Biljana Jakovljevic and Ana Miljanic.
