10th Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society

At the sitting begun on 3 May 2023, the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society considered the Ministry of Sport Activity Information for the period January – March 2023, Ministry of Education, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period January – March 2023, and the Ministry of Education Report on the labelling of docents and professors of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade.

Minister of Sport Zoran Gajic presented the Ministry information for the period January – March 2023.

The members of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society decided to adjourn the sitting in view of the tragedy in "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School in Belgrade.

The sitting was continued on 8 May 2023 and was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education – State Secretary Prof. Dr Ivica Radovic and assistant ministers Dr Aleksandar Jovic and Bojan Tubic; Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovations – Minister Prof. Dr Jelena Begovic and State Secretary Vukasin Grozdic and assistant ministers Dr Marina Sokovic, Ivana Vukasinovic and Vladimir Radovanovic and Ministry of Sport – Minister Zoran Gajic and State Secretary Marko Keselj and associates.

Following a debate, the Committee members adopted the Ministry of Sport Activity Information for the period January – March 2023.

The Committee also adopted the Ministry of Education, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period January – March 2023.

The Committee members also considered and adopted the Ministry of Education Report on the labelling of docents and professors of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Zivan Bajic, Tatjana Medved, Stojan Radenovic, Prof. Dr Vladimir Obradovic, Prof. Dr Mirka Lukic Sarkovic, Prof. Dr Jahja Fehratovic, MA Djordje Kosanic, Dr Zika Bujuklic, Prof. Dr Djordje Pavicevic, Ratko Nikolic, Dejan Vasic, Dragana Miljanic, Dr Zoran Lutovac, Prof. Dr Branimir Jovancicevic and Ljubinko Djurkovic and MP Radmila Vasic who is not member of the Committee.
